Can we enter in new members for next year?
Not quite yet: Go ahead and process membership fees according to your unit's money handling procedures. But do not enter any new members into the database until after July 15th. The PTA year ends on June 30th, and the new one begins with a purge of the system. All new entries will be lost.
You should enter your 2011-2012 Board as soon as possible. This information will be safe from the purge.
We also recommend that you make a printout of your 2010-2011 Membership Roster prior to June 30th. You can use this information to personally contact members for renewing their membership.
