Six Auburn Schools Named 2012-13 Reward Schools for Top Performance and Progres

As a part of Washington’s Elementary and Secondary Act waiver granted by the Department of Education, State Superintendent Randy Dorn has designated 58 top-performing and most improving Title I schools as “Reward
Schools.”
Auburn School District has earned 8 of the 58 rewards presented to Washington schools. Additionally, Evergreen Heights Elementary and Gildo Rey Elementary are 2 of only 4 schools statewide to be named Reward Schools in both the Highest-Performing and High Progress categories.
Auburn’s top-performing, most improving Title I schools are:
Evergreen Heights Elementary for Highest Performing-Reward A & High Progress-Reward B
Gildo Rey Elementary for Highest Performing-Reward A & High Progress-Reward B
Alpac Elementary for High Progress-Reward B
Dick Scobee Elementary for High Progress-Reward B
Pioneer Elementary for High Progress-Reward B
Washington Elementary for High Progress-Reward B
